The Club gave him a run for his money, with Kevin Perrin scoring a splendid win, and Peter Miitel, Joel Beggs and Rob Loveband holding the master to a draw. Eric demonstrated why he’s a master in several other games. Photos and report to follow soon.

Erik Teichmann Begonia Winner FM Simul

Big news! Erik is back... and he's coming to town on the 5th of May for a simul. Last year Eric stoically played through the simul even though he was suffering from severe stomach pains; this year we may not have that advantage! He has been performing well throughout many Australian tournaments this year and we are excited to welcome him for another round! Erik says "Just a reminder to let club members know that I'm happy for them to choose White or Black, and if they choose Black I'm happy to let them decide whether I play 1.e4, 1.d4, 1.Nf3 or 1.b4." So, come prepared!
